Wreckage of Plane Found; Six Dead
Searchers found the wreck of a small plane on Sunday that crashed during a snowstorm in the Cascade Mountains. All six people aboard were dead.
A member of the Washington State University Foundation Board of Trustees was aboard with his wife and two teen-age sons, a state Aeronautics Division spokesman said. No names were released.
The passengers were traveling to the football game between Washington State and the University of Washington.
Air traffic controllers lost radio and radar contact with the twin-engine Beech Duke on Saturday.
A helicopter found the wreckage in snow on Granite Mountain, about 35 miles east of Seattle.
