Houston Property Purchased: Santa Anita Realty Enterprises Inc. said Wednesday that it purchased a 278-unit apartment complex in Houston for $6.65 million.
The Orange-based real estate investment trust, which owns Santa Anita Park racetrack, bought the 10-acre property from Jersey Associates.
The 27-building complex includes a clubhouse, swimming pool and laundry service.
Santa Anita already owned 552 apartment units in Texas.
