If Tim Rutten feels twitchy about grim, self-righteous, God-fearing Pilgrims and Thanksgiving, it’s nothing to my feeling twitchy about his politically correct, grim, self-righteous, arrogant and popular attitude of judging people who lived centuries ago by today’s standards.
Maybe it’s because I am white, English-speaking and mid-European that I can’t agree with the current wisdom that blames us--or at least our males--for all the ills in the world.
