New Jersey Mayor Is Charged With Fraud

NEWARK, N.J. —
The mayor of Parsippany-Troy Hills and two other people have been indicted on federal charges that they embezzled $5,100 from the township’s self-insured dental plan.
Frank Priore, mayor since 1982 of the New York City suburb, was charged Thursday along with an aide and the part-owner of the company that administered the township’s benefit funds.
