Please--divorce is not forbidden in the Catholic Church! Your article detailing the new catechism should have stated that thousands of practicing Catholics are divorced and remarried with church approval. Their previous marriages have been annulled by the church for reasons such as extreme immaturity at time of marriage, unconsummated marriage, homosexuality, drug addiction, etc.
