WORKINGS OF THE LAW
The Nicarico case was a fascinating tale of egos and blind ambition. From the lawyers to the parents, not one person seemed to be have an awareness of whom he or she was representing.
The willful prosecution of the wrong people, no matter what their background, makes a mockery of the judicial system and shows disrespect and contempt for the victim. If this case results in an execution, the parents, prosecutors and investigators who made no effort to correct the errors will be as guilty as they believed the convicted person to be.
