Abortion and Sex Crimes

Weigel’s column on abortion rights contributing to crimes against women is filled with reasoning so specious as to be absurd. In many Western European countries that allow abortion on demand, rates of violent crimes against women are far lower than in the United States.

Could it be that denying women control over their own destinies contributes to the objectification that makes raping and abusing them OK?
