Van Gogh Bargain: A French businessman has bought one of Vincent van Gogh’s best-known paintings, “Le Jardin a Auvers,” for what is considered a bargain price--$10 million. The masterwork, painted by Van Gogh a few weeks before he died, has been declared a national monument and may not be exported from France. Art experts said the price could have been up to five times higher if American or Japanese buyers had entered the auction.
