DUCKING THE ISSUE: Disney Chairman Michael D. Eisner admits he’s a little worried that professional hockey players might not like playing for its new Anaheim National Hockey League expansion team under his own preferred nickname: The Mighty Ducks. . . . Maybe Eisner’s forgetting about the Long Island Ducks, who were once champs in the now defunct Eastern Hockey League. The team’s name was not a tribute to Donald Duck, or any Disney movie. Long Island was once known for its huge duck farms.
