Clarence (Bud) Coleman, 83, who helped lead the cooler-making Coleman Co. during its formative years. Coleman worked in numerous positions in the company his father founded, at one point managing all of its factories, where camping equipment was made. During the 1940s, he produced the camp stove that has been called one of the most important non-military items to come out of World War II. He relinquished his role in day-to-day operations in 1955.
