Lloyd Bentsen

In response to “Lloyd Bentsen, Comforter to the Haves,” by Alexander Cockburn, Column Left, Dec. 13:

Cockburn fails to get it; he should have read the column by Charles Morris, on the front page of Opinion; it would have provided him both an economic and political education. I do wonder, however, whether Cockburn’s noises are the underpinnings of a recall movement for Bill Clinton before the seating has occurred?
