ANAHEIM : Painting Project to Aid Needy Residents
- Share via
Low-income homeowners who are 55 or older have until Jan. 31 to apply for next spring’s Paint Your Heart Out Anaheim program.
Sponsored by Community Development Block Grant neighborhood improvement funds, Anaheim Beautiful and the city, hundreds of volunteers will fan out across the city on May 1 to paint the homes of residents who would not otherwise be able to afford the work.
The program has painted and refurbished 65 homes since 1990. Organizers have a goal of working on 45 homes this spring.
For an application or for information, call (714) 974-9481.
