Food for the Poor

How humiliating. How can the media be so callous as to continue to use the term “feeding centers” when referring to the people of Somalia. It sounds like an expression from a class on animal husbandry. How degrading. These people aren’t receiving feed at these centers. They are receiving food or nourishment. So why don’t they refer to them as food terminals or nourishment centers? I’m fed up with the term “feeding centers.” Let’s start treating people with a little more dignity, no matter how destitute they may be.
