Why give aid to Somalia when people are hungry here?
I recall no recent sightings of Americans, reduced to skeletons by starvation, dying on our streets. What I did witness in downtown Los Angeles recently was a man asking a woman for change. She had a bag of large, soft bread sticks and offered him one. He declined.
