Spread the Word: The National Assn. of Television Program Executives has commissioned a series of anti-discrimination public service announcements that will be provided to member TV stations on an ongoing basis. Already in production is an animated message directed at younger viewers that says “Friends Come in All Colors,” and a live-action spot with the theme “Hate Is an Old Idea,” geared to adults. The announcements are the first phase of a long-range anti-discrimination program launched earlier this year.
