The One That Got Away: The Summer Olympics tops the list of programs viewers wish they had taped during 1992, according to a Gallup poll commissioned by Sony Recording Media. The Olympics were followed in order by presidential campaign coverage, Super Bowl XXVI (Washington vs. Buffalo), Los Angeles riot coverage, World Series (Toronto vs. Atlanta), Johnny Carson’s farewell shows, NBA All-Star Game, “Murphy Brown’s” Dan Quayle episode, awards shows (Oscars, Tonys, Grammys) and Michael Jackson’s concert on HBO. The national poll sampled 1,015 adults, 18 or older.
