Matthews Studio Profit Slides 43% From 1991
Matthews Studio Equipment Group, a Burbank provider of production equipment for the movie and television industries, said its fiscal 1992 profit fell 43% from the prior year, to $934,000 from $1.65 million.
The earnings decline in the year ended Sept. 30 came despite an increase in Matthews’ revenue, to $24.2 million from $24 million in fiscal 1991.
