PLATFORM : Fault Lies Elsewhere

I don’t believe that the condo owners should be held responsible, because it’s the homeowners association’s responsibility to keep up the grounds in the common area. And as far as fault or anything else goes, they dictate to us how things are going to be on the outside. We don’t have any control over what they do as far as how they keep the grounds. All we can do is complain, but that doesn’t mean things are going to be the way we’d like them to be. We haven’t had any problem as far as accidents go, but we don’t always agree with the homeowners association and there’s not a lot we can do about it.

I believe that as long as it’s the association’s property and they’re paying for the upkeep and everything else, they should be responsible for the fault. We don’t own the property.

If someone is in my home, then of course I would be responsible. But if someone is not on anything that I own, then as far as I’m concerned, it’s not my responsibility.
