Beating Case Defendants

In response to Robert Tanenbaum’s column “Plea-Bargain in Denny Case Would Let Mob Rule Prevail,” Commentary, Dec. 24:

The Denny case must not be plea-bargained away. Plea-bargain the case away, and the shooters and outlaws will do it again and again. The job of the district attorney is to investigate charges, and try those responsible for the crime. Period.
