Honesty

Recently, I witnessed hope. I witnessed two acts of honesty that made me feel better!

I was standing in line at the post office when a woman purchased her items and left the building. She returned approximately 10 minutes later and handed the clerk a $10 bill, advising him that he had given her too much change!

Nearly 30 minutes later while in line at the bank, I watched a man enter the building in a panic. He had left his leather purse at the teller machine and it was now gone. A bank employee said he would check to see if someone had turned it in, but the man expressed his doubts quite emphatically. Much to his surprise the purse was returned and nothing had been removed (not even his cash)!
