No Buyout for Orange Superintendent

I need to clarify a point made in a Jan. 3 letter to the editor (“Please Dr. Resnick, Resign for the Kids”). Although I have called for the resignation of the interim superintendent, I would never advocate the paying off of his contract. That’s the job of the other board members who already have shelled out over $125,000 in the last eight months on contract buyouts. It is my belief that the interim superintendent has violated his contract to the point that a dismissal would be warranted. And that is what I believe would be good for the kids!
