Effective today, the home-delivered price of The Times Valley Edition will change to $3.55 per week for daily and Sunday service. This rate includes applicable California sales tax.

There will be no change for Sunday-only service and no change in single-copy rates.

The new home-delivery subscription rates represent an increase of less than 2%, and are the first change in subscription rates in nearly two years.

The change reflects higher distribution and operating costs and ongoing editorial improvements at The Times.

New rates will go into effect in those portions of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties in which subscribers are billed directly by The Times.
