Together Again: Radio personalities Gary Owens, Wink Martindale and Chuck Southcott, all formerly with KMPC, will be doing their thing for KJQI when it starts broadcasting Feb. 1 on the former KGIL spot on the AM dial, 1260. Southcott, who will also serve as program director, takes the 5-10 a.m. shift, followed by Martindale from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and Owens from 3-7 p.m. The rest of the schedule remains to be announced. KJQI will play middle-of-the-road music and standards from the ‘40s and ‘50s. No word yet on new stations for the programs of Bruce Williams and Larry King, who were heard on KGIL.
