The Bible and Gay Rights
Kudos and a standing ovation to Dorothy Mann for her support for the Colorado law prohibiting special status to homosexuals.
I am an American of Chinese descent and I personally believe strongly that there should not be discrimination of any kind. But I also believe that preference in the workplace should not be given to me or any other person just because of race, sex, etc. It should be on ability and/or experience alone. I want to be hired for my talents--not to fulfill a quota or law.
Homosexuals should not be given “minority” status just because of their choice of lifestyle or sexual behavior. To do so would only justify that behavior and give credence to their false claims that people are born either “straight” or “gay.” There is much evidence that shows that those claims are incorrect.
