Exposure to Tobacco Smoke

Is there any support for the following: To allow the businessman, employer, store owner, etc., to designate his establishment as either smoking or nonsmoking, and then to let the patron, employee, diner, etc., either patronize the site or not? Both then get the freedom of choice. I am a nonsmoker, but an avid supporter of individual choice.
As a consumer and employee, I now make choices based upon prices, wages, location, quality, benefits, etc. Why not also on cigarette smoke?
