Carl J. Kymla has been reappointed to the Metropolitan Water District of Orange County.
He will serve another four-year term on the 51-member board along with reappointed members Kenneth H. Witt of Brea and William F. Davenport of Tustin and newly appointed Wesley M. Bannister of Huntington Beach.
Kymla, 58, of Costa Mesa, has served on the board since 1973. The development consultant is one of the longest-serving members of the board and once was a Newport Beach councilman.
The water district provides about 60% of the water used by 15 million people in Orange, Ventura, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties.
