HER SUPPORT: The Progressive Women’s Assn. will further its attempt Saturday to be a major forum for women’s and minorities’ issues. Its AIDS symposium at 10 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Irvine will feature Irvine psychologist Valerie Gold-Neil and Tustin psychotherapist Karen Jones. Both specialize in women with AIDS. . . . “Women need to know that AIDS can happen to them,” says Gold-Neil. “But if they do get AIDS, they need to know there is a support system for them; they aren’t alone.”
