USC Names Scholarship for Actress Marion Ross

USC’s Andrus Gerontology Center has named an annual scholarship for actress Marion Ross in recognition of her “dignified depiction” of older people as the family matriarch in the CBS series “Brooklyn Bridge.”

Ross was also cited as the mother figure for 11 years in “Happy Days.” The first scholarship will be presented this fall.
