OPEC Oil Output Inches Higher: OPEC crude oil output inched up 50,000 barrels in January to 24.99 million barrels per day, close to a 12-year high, a Reuters survey of industry sources shows. The gain pushed the group’s crude production about 260,000 barrels per day above its desired ceiling of 24.73 million barrels. Ecuador, which quit the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries on Jan. 1, was not included in the estimate.
