A jury sided with Nordstrom after an employee sued the store, claiming that managers had put a hidden camera in a storage room salesclerks used to change clothes and relieve themselves. Jeannette Fazo sued her former employer two years ago after she overhead a supervisor say there was a hidden security camera in a storage room at the Valley Fair Shopping Center store. Fazo claimed invasion of privacy because she and some co-workers had been using the room to change clothes and relieve themselves. Nordstrom’s attorney contended that Fazo was misled by a store manager who mistakenly believed that there might be a camera. The jury decided that although Fazo apparently expected to have privacy in the room, her expectation was unreasonable.
