CREATIVE LAYABOUTS

Was Jonathan Gold bragging or confessing in his article on gender guilt (“A Woman’s Place,” Three on the Town, Jan. 10)? Women have dreams that go beyond having kids, cleaning house and providing a stable income while the menfolk wait for the inspiration that might someday pay off. My happiest day was when I stopped coddling the little prince in my life and threw the bum out. Now I can be the creative layabout, instead of just supporting one.
