CARACAS : Latin Group of Three

Share

The presidents of Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela--the so-called Group of Three--will meet in the Venezuelan capital Thursday and Friday to further negotiations for a three-way free-trade agreement.

They’ll be joined Friday by the five Central American presidents to discuss aid projects and the incorporation of their countries as well into a regional trade pact. While no final agreements are expected to be signed, the talks underline the importance Latin American countries assign to increasing regional trade.
