HAPPY ENDING: Shannon Timpane-Moser of New York City hoped that her appearance on NBC’s “Unsolved Mysteries” on Jan. 27 might reunite her with her friend Teri Smith, who had lived with her family in Orange from 1969 to 1975. The two had been separated for more than a decade, and red tape stymied Timpane-Moser’s search efforts. . . . But the show worked: Two of Smith’s siblings happened to watch that night. Timpane-Moser and Smith dined together Friday in Lake Elsinore, where Smith now lives. Says Timpane-Moser: “She’s so much like she used to be.”
