Euro Disney Forecast Dismal for This Year: Executives with the theme park operator said the company will report a “substantial loss” for its current fiscal year. Euro Disney, 49% owned by Walt Disney Co., posted a $33.7-million loss in the year ended Sept. 30. Executives did not say what they expect the loss to be for the current fiscal year. The park, 20 miles east of Paris, has been plagued by lower than expected attendance and hotel occupancy as well as high interest costs.
