Frances Hunt; Sang With Big Bands

Frances Hunt, 77, former singer with the Benny Goodman, Gordon Jenkins and Ben Pollock bands who also recorded with Ray Noble and Teddy Wilson, among others. She left Lou Bring’s band in the mid-1930s to join Goodman but soon returned to Bring, whom she married. She appeared in the 1939 musical film “You’re a Sweetheart,” which starred George Murphy and Alice Faye, and sang on the radio and with the USO during World War II.
