Satellite Firm’s Profit Rises 29%

Satellite Technology Management, a manufacturer of satellite communications networks, said its profit for 1992 totaled $3.6 million, or 81 cents a share, up 29% from the $2.8 million, or 86 cents a share, recorded for 1991. Revenue rose 54% to $19.1 million from $12.4 million.

For the fourth quarter of 1992, earnings increased 12% to $880,000, or 18 cents a share, from $785,800, or 24 cents a share. Three-month revenue showed a 26% gain to $4.9 million from $3.9 million.
