President Clinton’s Plan to Raise Taxes

With all the discussion on the deficit and its impending “reduction” by the Clinton Administration, I must ask two questions: First, why always tax increases, reductions in entitlement programs and no reductions in spending? And second, why will no one in this Administration discuss foreign aid?

Without a doubt the biggest drain on the United States has to be foreign aid. I would like to see a list of what countries receive foreign aid and how much per year. Let us see where the cuts to reduce the deficit should really come from.
