Mr. Coffeehouse

As booking coordinator for the pikme-up cafe for the last 5 1/2 years, I was surprised the pikme-up was not mentioned in Hochman’s article.

I have been presenting a wide variety of musicians and genres of music both familiar and unclassifiable, as well as performance art and poetry, every week with continued success.

Aside from the Onyx/Sequel, the pikme-up cafe is the elder of the now ubiquitous coffeehouse scene.
