Controversy Over Immigrants

Share

It used to be that before one can become a United States citizen one has to be in the United States through legal means and the ability to read, write and speak the language is a prerequisite. On top of this one has to submit a signed statement to the effect that he/she shall not become a ward of the state.

Now, the illegal aliens are not only given the glorified name of “undocumented aliens” but we even enact laws like the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act to allocate our hard-earned tax money to teach them the language (Feb. 17).
