In response to “Test-Takers Who Helped Ill Man Denied Extra Time on Bar Exam,” Feb. 27:

I realize one must follow the law and rely on the facts to be a good lawyer. But I also thought it takes compassion and a sensitivity to your fellow human being. Obviously not! But why should I be surprised? It is more apparent than ever that the system exacts such a toll, in the name of success and getting ahead in a timely fashion, that all others be damned.

If I ever need a lawyer I would call on John Leslie and Eunice Morgan in an instant. They should be commended by the State Bar for their swift action, and if they don’t already have jobs lined up, a good company should grab them up!
