Money magazine this month came out with its 1993 housing appreciation projections for the top 50 U.S. markets: Orange County, where the $235,400 median value is expected to actually drop, nearly hit bottom, at 48th. . . . San Diego and Los Angeles also ranked in the lowest five. Denver ranked first in price growth. Says the magazine: “Denver is attractive to California firms fed up with the state’s high cost of doing business.”
