Biomerica Signs Deal: Biomerica Inc. said Tuesday that it signed a marketing deal with Bio-Rad Laboratories of Hercules, Calif., for the distribution of its gastritis and ulcer test in the United States and Canada.

Earlier, Newport Beach-based Biomerica had signed another agreement with Bio-Rad, which is based in Italy, for the distribution of its GAP product in Europe and the Pacific Rim excluding Japan. The GAP device tests blood for possible signs of stomach ulcers or cancer.
