State-Federal Storm Disaster Relief Applications Still Taken by Phone

Share

Residents who suffered losses during the recent series of winter storms may now apply for assistance by telephone now that the federal/state disaster relief application centers that were opened throughout the state have been closed.

State and federal assistance is available to cover uninsured and underinsured losses to homes, personal property and businesses damaged by the storms or flooding. Help is available regardless of residency status.

Programs include grants for temporary housing, mortgage and rental assistance and low-interest loans for repairs to homes and businesses.
