EASY READING: The Transportation Authority has started replacing the first of about 7,000 bus-stop signs across the county. The new ones have better route information and tell you which stops have wheelchair ramps. But the feature that bus riders like best: They’re lower on the pole so you won’t have to strain your neck anymore to read them. . . . An added bonus: They’re supposed to be graffiti resistant. All the bus stops should have the new signs by the end of the year.
