WATTS : Official to Review Rebuilding of Store
A Los Angeles zoning administrator Monday will review plans to rebuild a grocery store that was destroyed in last spring’s riots.
The administrator must decide whether to allow the continued operation of Watts Market, at 2116 E. 103rd St., an area zoned for residential use. The 2:30 p.m. hearing will include issues such as noise and traffic in the area of mostly single-family homes.
Residents can testify at the hearing, which will be at City Hall, 200 N. Spring St., Room 561-A. The case is on file at the Office of Zoning Administration, Room 600.
Information: (213) 485-3851.
