Don’t Glorify the Taggers

I really enjoyed your interesting story on taggers and wish some of these nice youngsters would stop by my neighborhood sometime. I’d just like to give you my glossary of their commonly used phrases:

TIK: Totally ignorant kids.

Homies: Where these little punks should be every night.

Kicking it: What we citizens should be doing every time we see them doing this.

Toy: What these kids should be playing with in their “homies” every night.

Seek and destroy: What we American citizens should be doing to these punks.

Map the heavens: Obviously not where these kids are going.

To be down: Where these kids should be on their hands and knees, scrubbing this stuff off the walls.

Landmark: Obviously something none of these kids have learned about in school.

Tag-banging: Something we citizens and police ought to be doing to these punks.
