FAA Reopens Family Airlines Certification: The Federal Aviation Administration had halted the process after the Las Vegas-based airline failed to supply sufficient documentation about its proposed maintenance procedures. But Family, which plans to begin low-cost, coast-to-coast service in May, has now provided the necessary materials, the FAA said. The FAA still needs to complete other parts of its examination before granting Family permission to fly.
