Military Base Closings
In your story on military base closures (March 9) you quote Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-El Cajon) saying, “. . . I may not be able to get grants for school libraries, but I can help the bases.” Do statements like that give you a warm feeling about the future of this country or what?
