Warner-Lambert Buys Some Wilkinson Sword Operations: Warner-Lambert Co. said it bought the European, U.S. and Canadian operations of shaving products company Wilkinson Sword for $142 million. When combined with Schick, Warner’s own brand of shaving equipment, the company’s shaving products operations will generate global sales of more than $500 million, the Morris Plains, N.J.-based firm said. Warner-Lambert is buying the operations from Eemland Holdings, a Dutch management buyout vehicle that bought Wilkinson’s worldwide business from Sweden’s Stora Kopparbergs for about $627 million in 1990.
