Broker Barred in Trade Violations
The American Stock Exchange has disciplined a Newport Beach broker for violation of exchange rules. Steven R. Sala was censured and barred for one year from the exchange for allegedly wrongly marking a customer’s order tickets and taking actions on two customers’ accounts without their knowledge or written permission. Sala, who could not be reached for comment, settled with the exchange without admitting or denying the charges.
